Hello, my name is Jamal Robbins and I am 14 years old. I founded Junior's Collectables at the age of 13, on September 1, 2022.  During 2021, I started a fundraiser creating inspirational tree cups to raise money for my eighth grade class trip to Washington DC. Three months into my fundraiser, I developed a passion for motivating people to be their very best and to never give up no matter what. This fundraiser is what sparked my passion to start my own business.

Kids Rule Now Inc., founded by Rhonda Alexia Webb,  played a big part in helping me start my business. Each year during the month of October, Ms. Rhonda hosts an event called Kidposium at Saginaw Valley State University. Attending these events have been very inspirational, motivational, and has helped me to grow my business. Ms. Rhonda has shown me that youth can run a successful business too! 

In 2023, I was selected by Kids Rule Now! Inc to be part of the Vitito Fellows Mentoring Program with Vitito Fellows Cohort 11, as a mentee under the direction of Dr. Joseph Ofori-Dankwa, Saginaw Valley State University. During this time , I gained knowledge about marketing, business management, money management, and effective communication skills; which has been a big boost to my business.
